IN CASE YOU MISSED IT…… BILL WINKLER

For the Month of May, COMUFON moved its monthly meeting down south to Pueblo to support our southern chapter. Our guest speaker was Bill Winkler. Bill is a lecturer, ufologist, metaphysical teacher and among other things, a humorist. Bill originally was a court reporter in New York and Connecticut and said he really appreciated “getting the facts straight.” He said ever since he was a little boy he didn’t think it unusual to hear voices enter his mind telling him truths or future events.

When Bill was 5 years old he found himself staring out a window at home. He happened to be watching an elderly man outside. He suddenly heard a loud voice within himself tell him that “this man will die.” This particular man died of natural causes that night. One day while playing the piano he heard a voice inside his head say, “You will be doing this.” Bill eventually went on to become a court stenographer (typing words though instead of playing music). In 1947, while reading a newspaper article about the Kenneth Arnold craft sightings, he once again heard a voice within telling him, “Those things are real.”

Bill went on to have a low level UFO sighting in Manchester, CT years later. He was exiting a fitness center when he noticed an oval object with six portal windows. The object was approximately 300 feet in distance and the sighting lasted about 20 minutes. There were two other witnesses that also viewed the object but they hightailed it out of there.

Bill performed three skits for our audience members to demonstrate his outlook on UFOs in a somewhat humorist fashion.

His first skit had himself portraying a German professor addressing the UN Council on “Quantum Physics and Spirituality with Relation to Earthlings.” He discussed human abductions, alien hybrids, shape shifting and unconventional aerial sightings.

For his second skit Bill became native New Yorker, Bob Brightman, addressing the Pueblo Chamber of Commerce. “Bob” did a presentation on things you could write a book about concerning ufology. He went on to pontificate about flying saucers morphing into separate objects, USOs (Underwater Submersible Objects), UFO investigators, physical trace evidence, radar anomalies, organized religion and UFOs, crop circles, chupacabras…
