IN CASE YOU MISSED IT……

International MUFON Director, John Schuessler, spoke at COMUFON’s August meeting on the subject of increasing international UFO sightings. From South America to North America to Europe to the Middle East, unusual aerial sightings are being phoned in, videotaped and forwarded to the MUFON Worldwide UFO Database nearly everyday.

South American sightings include countries such as Argentina ( a UFO was filmed for 17 minutes at Comodoro Riovadavia), Brazil (farm workers spotted a UFO north of Sao Paulo) and Chile (Northeast of Santiago bright lights were seen in the sky. Seven to ten smaller lights descended from a large light and then proceeded to change shapes, rearrange themselves in different patterns and zigzagged at incredibly fast speeds).

England, Ireland, Portugal and Poland all had recent sightings of small to large objects. In Ireland, two men witnessed an enormous delta-winged craft that soundlessly traveled at ultrasonic speed, taking just a few seconds to reach the horizon.

Not to be outdone, the United States has had numerous sightings throughout the summer from California to Maryland keeping investigators extremely busy.

John talked about how UFOs have been reported since 1566 in Europe. He also discussed the way in which UFOs are reported state by state. A chart was shown that displayed the different types of unconventional objects reported by shape, color and other characteristics.

In 1951 the United Nations rejected a request to investigate UFOs. So in the meantime, we will continue to individually, state by state, investigate reports as they arrive. Hopefully the Pandora project (scanning the more than 35,000 UFO written reports that sit idle) will come to fruition so we can have a more comprehensive view of this unusual phenomenon.
