Colorado MUFON State Meeting Minutes

January 10th, 2004 1pm - 4pm, Glendale Community Center, Glendale, CO

Leslie Varnicle, Colorado State Director

- Leslie started the meeting with information on upcoming speakers. She began discussion on the Pandora project and the Symposium, and then handed over to Lin.

Lin Simpson, Director of Membership

- Lin asked for volunteers on the Pandora Project. This project is to scan the multitude of files that Lin has in her basement. They are MUFON case reports that have been collected over the years. If we can scan them, we can make them searchable and available online.

- Lin also updated us on the Symposium. She gave us more information on 6 Flags and their participation in the Not of This Earth Day. We were also hoping that the Sci-Fi channel would help out in some way. Representatives said they might. Lin also asked for volunteers.

Ethan Rich, Investigations Coordinator/Section Director

- Ethan informed the club he had discussed with a witness near Deertrail that had some interesting experiences and took some video of a sighting. He showed the video and it looked similar to others we had seen lately. It had a distinctive purplish haze.
